Nancy Ritter, the Beloit Latter Day Saints Family History Center Director gave a program at the Beloit Public Library for our Stateline Genealogy Club June 12, 2015 – “Genealogy Resources of the Beloit LDS Family History Center” on what is offered if you go to the Center:

There are several volunteers there to help you with your genealogy searches – to get started searching on the free Family Search website, “https://familysearch.org/” , or to put your family history together.

They can help your rent a microfiche/film from Family History Library, Salt Lake City, Utah to be viewed on the Center’s machines.

The Center has 3 computers, printer, microfiche reader, & 2 microfilm readers for visitors.

They also have premium websites available to use at the Center for free such as:

Heritage Quest online, Fold3, Find My Past, World Vital Records, etc.

Open Thursdays 1 – 4 p.m., and 2nd Saturday of the month 9 a.m. – 12 noon.
